Building Healthy Communities

Floridians deserve a healthcare system that delivers high-quality care, keeps costs down, and puts patients in charge of their medical decisions.

With this in mind, Paul filed and championed the Patient Savings Act, which rewards patients who shop for high-value healthcare services by allowing them to share in the savings. These reforms put patients back at the center of the system, encouraging transparency, competition, and better outcomes.

Paul recognizes that while real healthcare happens at the point of care, between a provider and their patient, policy still matters. Too often, our system is built on backward incentives that favor procedures over prevention. Preventive care and wellness, like quality sleep, healthy nutrition, and regular exercise, rarely come with billing codes, even though they are essential to fighting the biggest threats to our health: cancer, heart disease, diabetes, and cognitive decline.

Paul believes the incentives within our healthcare system should align with long-term wellness, not just short-term treatment. He sees healthcare not only as a service, but as a pathway to stronger families, longer lives, and healthier communities.  Paul will support and expand President Trump’s efforts to Make America Healthy Again.
