TALLAHASSEE, FL— Today, the Paul Renner for Governor Campaign announced a statewide “Affordability Now Tour” to address the growing affordability crisis negatively affecting Floridians statewide.
With rising costs hitting Floridians at every turn, the roundtable-style tour will focus on real-world kitchen table concerns and challenges, including the continued lack of meaningful property tax reform, skyrocketing utility bills, persistent insurance premiums, and the increasing cost of healthcare and cost of living.
At each stop, Renner will hear directly from Florida’s local business owners, homeowners, seniors and community stakeholders struggling to keep up. The former Florida House Speaker will address voter’s concerns about Tallahassee politicians failing to act decisively on the issues that matter most, while outlining policy solutions that will restore financial stability and put Floridians first.
The “Affordability Now Tour” will visit:
- Wednesday, April 8th Miami, FL
- Thursday, April 9th Tampa, FL
- Monday, April 13th Crawfordville, FL
- Tuesday, April 14th Orlando, FL
- Wednesday, April 15th Jacksonville, FL
- Friday, April 17th Pensacola, FL
Locations for each event will be announced accordingly.
“Floridians are working harder than ever, but falling further behind, and the Legislature has failed to take bold action on the affordability crisis facing our state. It’s time to listen to the people and discuss real solutions that will lower costs and make Florida more affordable for everyone,” Renner said.
