Attorney, Naval Officer Sets Sights on Special Election Seat
(Tallahassee, Fla.) – The Florida Medical Association PAC (FMA PAC), Florida’s leading advocate for electing pro-medicine candidates to office, today endorsed Paul Renner in his bid for Florida House District 24.
“From his military service to prosecuting serious felons as a former lead trial attorney, Paul Renner has demonstrated his commitment to public service,” said Dr. Ralph Nobo, President of the FMA PAC. “The Florida Medical Association is pleased to support Paul Renner in his run for state representative, and we know he will be a strong advocate for our organization and its more than 20,000 physicians.”
“Thank you to the FMA for their continued support of my candidacy,” said Renner. “It is crucial we work together to ensure all Floridians have access to quality health care with a clear understanding that the best way to achieve that goal is putting control in the hands of patients and their doctors, not more government interference.”
Florida’s House District 24, which includes all of Flagler County, and parts of St. Johns and Volusia counties, is an open seat previously held by Republican State Rep. Travis Hutson, who is now running in the special election of Senate District 6.
